I go on the internet everyday to check my facebook, myspace, email, stuff like that. After that, I do whatever I want on the internet because I’m bored. Also, I know this doesn’t fit in with my internet addiction, but I want a hobby so I can escape my internet addiction maybe like basketball or football. But I don’t know how to play basketball or football. Can someone give me a few tips on any of these sports?
How do I stop my internet addiction?

You can start playing basketball!! It has helped my brother! He goes to play, even by himself when his friends can’t go with him, and it helps him a lot! He’s always in a better mood after he comes home! Before that he used to play his Xbox and study all day long. He was almost depressed

hmmmm well to b sure, u don’t need medacines or anything to cure u’re problem, ok i’d say first of all its not bad cheking emails, but soon after u become bored rite, yea dats becoz u have nothing fun to do, don’t get mad, i’d say at dis point u have no life lol ehh but wait go out of the house with u’re frends, or give ur computer to ur frends to hold nd see how long u go without it, beleive it will help, joining a sport of club or hangn wit da family, sports u cud get a couple of u’re mates with girls in it ofcorse lol makes itt more fun lol make up u’r own rulez and play… easy peesy
now all u gotta do is believe dat its not a problem, b laid bak about it nd enjoy it with eac other, ahhh i hate writing long stuff lol

G.M. why not join the Y and go from there to see what team sports they offer. Or limit yourself to a time to be on the computer. I am currently off work and have to set limits for my own usage or otherwise the whole day is gone before I know it… God Bless Reggie
Also why not look up basketball on the net to learn basics

Discuss your addiction with your family members. While this addiction is not life threatening, it is extremely isolating and can have a seriously negative impact on your social skills and general well-being. Letting your family members know of your problem gives them the opportunity to help you. Have you ever seen the show Intervention AE? The show highlights various addictions and the interventions that family members perform to help them through it. Take a look at the show and it might help you gain some ideas on how to reduce your addiction.
