Looking at this picture, http://www.columbusclay.com/images/veb.jpg it seems to be not the best choice. Its temperature range is much higher than you need for annealing beads, for which 1100F is more than enough. But the real problem is the lack of a proper access door for beads still on the mandrel – to anneal you would have to get every bead off the mandrels and you couldn’t garage items.
Bead kilns look like these http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&um=1&sa=1&q=bead+kiln&aq=f&oq=&aqi=&start=0 and have a door in the side that closes down to the level of the inside floor with a shelf outside to support the mandrels.
