What were the typical activities/hobbies/interests of women in the 1910s?
I have to make a women's magazine that is pertinent for the years 1914-1920 for a history project, and I'm trying to figure out what kind of material to put in it. Basically, I haven't been able to find the hobbies of women in the 1910s. If you have any ideas, that would be great! 
Do women have hobbies as obsessive as men’s and if so what are they?
My Girlfriend and I are having a debate as to whether or not women had hobbies that took up inordinate amounts of their freetime. I play Dungeons & Dragons and routinely spend 8 or more hours on a saturday playing with my friends and spend a lot of time during the week preparing for the game.
I know there are many other hobbies men participate in that suck up this kind of time like restoring old cars, historical reenactment, any kind of collecting, etc.
So women what are your obsessive hobbies??? What do you do with your freetime, especially in today's busy world?
What’s the best way to live life happily?
I often wonder, I turn up from school at three, then get to homework that lasts till five, then study for my exams. And every night I sleep with the thought "I didn't do anything today". obviously, people might say 'go to play' or 'spend time in hobbies'....But this doesn't really work for me. I mean, playing doesn't really make you do something creative- it's just for fun, and exercise. Indirectly, How can I make life more exciting? As if I'd wake up, I would feel there's so much to do! All suggestions welcome?

How to find hobbies when nothing sounds interesting?
I currently only have one hobby, which is collecting and photographing dolls.
In the past, Ive done all kinds of art and photography...and I got bored with it all because it was lonely. I would like to find something to do besides doll stuff. Ive met everyone in my state there is to meet who own my type of dolls. No others interest me.
Currently I have one friend, and I would like to make more. However I dont drive, and I have ZERO dollars to spend on things like admission fees, and supplies for new and expensive hobbies.
I litterally have NOTHING that interests me. I love art, but im getting bored with it now. I dont like to read a lot, and I'd like to get out of the house and not spend so much time on the net..
But it seems like every option I come up with, is either too expensive, too far away, or it just doesnt hold my interest.
How can I branch out and find new hobbies (and new people) when Im so limited as far as money and transportation goes?

Best place to live around Boulder for a young rock-climbing couple with limited budget?
We would like to move from Pittsburgh to Boulder in the fall. Our hobbies are backpacking/hiking, climbing, outdoor activities, chilling at dive bars and photograghy. We don't have scads of money (just starting out), but still want to live in a cute/safe place. Prefer to have some nature and privacy, but not be too far away from stores and modern conveniences. Any reccommendations? Any places to steer clear of?
