I pay all the bills though both of us contribute to the household income. The item in question is on discount and because it is part of their hobby. It is not something that is needed in the home as they already have a smaller one but just WANT it because it is bigger. and on sale. I was asked if they could buy it I said no and now they are mad at me. I told them that we need other items at this time and the money should go for that. Why do they do that? Why ask at all?

I have just started a new job and i don’t know the people i work with at all. What can i buy / make for less than £5.00 for a middle aged women whos hobbies / likes / dislikes i have no idea about. As it is a small company it wouldn’t be seen as the right thing to do and just ask others who may know. I thought about a book voucher but thats not very original. I thought about making a cake/ biscuits but as it is my job i don’t think she would look at it as a ‘personal gesture’. Help

I answered a question earlier from a woman who was upset that her husband took the morning to go for a motorcycle ride instead of sitting at home. The nice thing to do would have been to plan ahead so that she could have gotten a babysitter and gone along with him, but part of the fun of life is doing something spontaneous once in a while. Since when did being married mean giving up all your hobbies and your individuality?

There are some people who just love to read, play music, write, draw, or do some other activity. Why is it that allows some people to explode with life when doing such things while others hardly enjoy it at all?

I need a new hobby.I have spent years on the internet doing just about everything you ca do here.I have watched years of movies one after the other,Please no cards,bingo,puzzles ,reading a book,or taking a walk.these are my normal agenda,IS there anything unusual to do that is fun and different.Please no porn,or making jewelery or travel or the usual.. something very different that not many people do are aware of for fun.Nothing bad..Just something interesting.Keep in mind that I live in the middle of nowhere,and buy the way I voleenteer 40 hours a week at a charity organzation so thats out?

My favourite hobbies involve exercise,reading-mainly ancient history , browsing the internet and i have recently started learning to play the guitar.
